ADAPTIVE LEARNING CENTER

A Key to Individual Potential for Adults with Neurodevelopmental Disabilities

Text Box: Program

Program Description

The ALC program is built on the recognition that an Autism Spectrum Disorder or neurodevelopmental disability affects all aspects of an adult's life, career, and activities of daily living. In response, ALC provides comprehensive services designed to meet emotional, social, vocational and functional needs.

Our focus is on supporting each adult client to develop to their full potential. While we encourage the individuals we work with to acknowledge their challenges, we concentrate on developing their strengths and talents. Far too often, individuals with disabilities focus on their limitations and challenges rather than explore their positive attributes. At the Adaptive Learning Center we emphasize the positive and help adults build upon their strengths.

Program Planning

Each client at ALC brings a unique set of needs and aptitudes.
