Clients lease two bedroom apartments through the Center for Adaptive Learning program (two clients per apartment).

CAL maintains apartments and townhouses located within walking distance of public transportation and shopping for its clients. Normally, two clients share an apartment. Apartment living is provided in a natural setting to facilitate the learning of living skills. Insofar as they are able, clients are responsible for their apartment living, including planning and preparation of meals.

The facilities are located within walking distance of public transportation, BART, shopping, religious institutions, the library and other community services.
